Our Pascal CandleWorship at St. James'

Worship at St. James' centres on the Holy Communion. The 8:00 a.m. Sunday service uses the Book of Common Prayer, whilst at 10:30 we use a more modern form of service.

'First Sunday Worship' is a non-eucharistic service for all the family - from the youngest to the oldest.

St. James' Church remains open for quiet and prayer throughout each day. Requests for prayer can be placed in a book for that purpose.

Morning Prayer will be said most days at 7.15am, but at 9.00am on Saturdays.

Holy Communion is celebrated every: Thursday 9.30am in the Village Hall Committee Room and on Friday at 7.15am in Church

May all joys find here their source and their deepening ...
may all sorrows find here their solace and understanding ...
may anger and bitterness find their healing, and the guilty heart its absolution ...
and may all who worship here find peace,
for here we are conscious of stepping into the presence of God .
